2013 Buku Music + Art Project in New Orleans

Are you looking for something fresh and modern?  Want some innovative indie rock mixed with art and the local flavors of New Orleans?  Look no further than Buku Music + Art Project.  You’ll find the featured bands provide fresh interpretations of genres and sub-genres, as you enjoy local fare and art from resident artists.

The 2013 Buku Music + Art Project will be held on March 8th and 9th at Mardi Gras World found in downtown New Orleans’ warehouse district.

On Friday, March 8th, you’ll find such acts as Kid Cudi, Primus 3D, Flux Pavilion, and more.

On Saturday, March 8th, rock out with Calvin Harris, Passion Pit, Kendrick Lamar, and many more.

Buku will bring amazing art installations to the 2013 festival, but they are keeping the details quiet in anticipation of the event.  Buku will also delicious food stands provided by local restaurants, a wonderful alternative to the typical festival fare.

Halloween weekend in New Orleans inspires wild and crazy fun for trick-or-treaters of all ages!  This is a place where visitors can cut loose and have fun in all that NOLA has to offer.  We are especially looking forward to the VooDoo Experience Music Festival 2012, which has featured high-profile artists for more than ten years in City Park.  This high energy and exciting festival showcases four musical experiences in distinct locations: Le Ritual – mainstream music,  Le Plur – electronical/dance, Le Flambeau – local flare, and Le Carnival – indie bands.

VooDoo Music Fest was originally started in 2005 as a post Hurricane Katrina tribute concert for New Orleans citizens, and the many folks who provided support and assistance to us.  To this day the annual event offers three days of outstanding entertainment by a variety of award-winning artists.
